WarmSculpting with SculpSure is a non-invasive treatment for the reduction of stubborn fat. Each 25 minute treatment can destroy up to 24% of treated fat cells without surgery. However, every person’s response is different.

  • Fast treatment time (only 25 minutes)
  • Up to 25% reduction in fat cells with each treatment
  • Cost effective
  • Easily tolerated
  • Results without surgery or downtime
  • No vacuum applicator like CoolSculpting
  • Versatile applicators enable treating numerous areas
  • Feathering of heat increases size of treated area and allows smooth transition from treated to untreated areas therefore no risk of dimpling

When it comes to Warm Sculpting vs. CoolSculpting, many patients are curious as to which one is best.  Both treatments are nonsurgical and destroy subcutaneous fat cells in similar ways, though Warm Sculpting employs heat and CoolSculpting uses freezing temperatures. They are also FDA-cleared and recognized to be much safer than liposuction.  Warm Sculpting requires a shorter treatment time and uses four applicators to simultaneously target multiple areas of unwanted fat.  On the other hand, CoolSculpting employs a single applicator to target one localized pocket of fat.

Additionally, Warm Sculpting avoids the pulling, tugging, numbness, and bruising that are commonly associated with CoolSculpting. Finally, CoolSculpting is limited to pinchable areas of fat that can be vacuumed into an applicator. SculpSure does not operate with the same restriction, making it a more versatile alternative. Because the heat feathers into the untreated areas, there is no risk of dimpling. Learn more about warmsculpting vs coolsculpting and also about our superior warmsculpting treatment at CostCare.

WarmSculpting treatments can be performed on the: Abdomen

Flanks (love handles)

Back

Legs

Arms

Under the chin

Every patient is different.  Most people see the best results when they have a series of 2-3 treatments every 6 weeks.  However, you can see significant results 12 weeks after even one treatment.

Patients can start to see results as early as 1 week following treatment as the body begins to eliminate the destroyed fat cells, with optimal results usually seen at 12 weeks.  With a 2 treatment series, a patient will have 2 treatments at 6 weeks intervals, with maximum benefit seen 18 weeks after the first treatment.

Treated fat cells are destroyed during the treatment and will not regenerate. WarmSculpting treatments are an excellent complement to a healthy lifestyle. If you continue to eat an unhealthy diet, your remaining fat cells will expand and your treatment will not be as effective. Optimal benefits are best achieved in combination with diet and exercise.

With a WarmSculpting treatment, there is absolutely no downtime which allows you to resume your daily activities right away. Make it back to work for that post-lunch meeting, never miss a yoga class, hit the slopes or head to the beach. This treatment certainly isn’t stopping you!

The number of fat cells stored in your body typically remains constant throughout your adult life. As you lose weight, the size of your fat cells becomes smaller but does not decrease in number. Even with diet and exercise, many people have difficulty losing weight in some trouble areas like their abdomen, flanks, thighs, back and under their chin. After the WarmSculpting treatment, the fat cells are permanently destroyed and do not regenerate.

Sculpture is ideal for body sculpting, meaning that you have areas of stubborn fat despite your best efforts at diet and exercise.  These stubborn areas are typically found in the abdomen, flanks, legs, back and under the chin.  Sculpsure works to destroy areas of fat and is not considered a weight-loss treatment.

The price for SculpSure procedures varies depending on your areas of concern which can affect  the number of packs and sessions needed.  SculpSure is priced by the number of packs used. Each pack is priced between $125-$150 per pack. We can create a customized treatment plan for you that’s tailored to your goals and your budget.

SculpSure™ treatments result in a noticeable fat reduction in the treated areas*. You should be able to see the reduction in fat with your own eyes. However, because the absorption of the destroyed fat cells from your body is a gradual process, some patients don’t always appreciate the difference it makes until they see the before and after photos that are taken at every treatment session.

Studies show that the treatment can remove up to 20-25% of the fat in the treated areas after just one treatment. For many patients, that is enough fat reduction.  Some patients will wish to undergo a second procedure to remove additional fat.

The SculpSure device’s laser energy penetrates the skin and heats only the fat cells (not other body tissue) until they’re too damaged to survive.  The body considers the cells unnecessary tissue and breaks them down and disposes of them. The fat will dissipate naturally and effectively disappear from your body.

When it’s time for your procedure, some special frames will be secured to the body areas to be treated with a belt. The SculpSure lasers will be snapped into the frames.  Up to four frames can be applied at one time. The laser treatment lasts 25 minutes for each area treated and you can get multiple areas treated during the same appointment. You can have this treatment done during your lunch break and be back in the office within an hour.

Initially, there will be cooling and gradual warming in the treatment area for the first four minutes, then an interchange between heating and cooling sensations for the next 21 minutes.  Cooling protects the surface of the skin from overheating as the laser cycles on and off and makes treatment more comfortable.  The average pain level is described as a 5-6/10. There can be a pinching or tingling sensation which isn’t an issue for most people, but everyone’s pain tolerance is different. WarmSculpting heats the fat cells to about 107 degrees.  We do have medications that can help the pain during the procedure if needed.

WarmSculpting treatments have very few reported side effects. Temporary effects in the first few days afterward include some minor soreness, redness, bruising, and swelling. You may want to wear a garment with a relaxed elastic waist for comfort.  It is important to hydrate well 1-2 days before your treatment and two weeks after to help flush out the destroyed fat cells.

You may develop some lumps in the treatment area. These are collections of immune and destroyed fat cells.  We recommend you regularly massage the treated area twice daily for 2-4 weeks following your treatment to help prevent these.  If a lump does occur just massage vigorously 2-3 times per day until the lump disappears.  The lumps are not visible by anyone.

Although considered a low-risk procedure, SculpSure has a few possible side effects.

Tenderness/Pain – you may have some soreness for a couple of days after your treatment, but it doesn’t prevent you from doing any of your regular activities.

Nodules – these are clumps of immune cells and destroyed fat cells. We recommend massaging the treated area 2-3 times daily for 2-4 weeks following your treatment.  Heavily massage any nodules that do appear.

Swelling/Edema – usually lasts 2-3 days if it occurs

Redness/Erythema – we recommend you do not have the treatment done if you have a sunburn

Bruising -to minimize, refrain from alcohol, fish oil, aspirin and ibuprofen one week before your treatment

Blistering/Skin Burn – occurs rarely – has never occurred in our clinic.

Lightheadedness, Fainting, Dizziness – occurs rarely
